13 + 1 Tips on Sales

Here are 13 + 1 tips on sales that will help you through the sales process, converting potential prospects to loyal customers.

1.  Be excited - genuinely.  

 If you exude positivity with your client in the meeting, they’ll be positive about you working with them.  Get positive…it’s contagious.

2.  Be on time.

 The only other advice I can give you here is BE EARLY.  If you’re not five minutes early….you’re late.  If your meeting is off-site, be there at LEAST 15 minutes prior to to prep the area for your client and ensure there are no distractions.

3.  Be prepared.

 Do you just pick up the phone blindly and call right after the potential client contacts you?  Or do you do a little research in advance about their venue, visit their wedding website or check out their facebook or myspace page?  Google your leads in advance.  I would bet they are googling you too.
