Bio

Dr. Natalie Cupples Pickering is a TedX speaker, consulting psychologist, trainer, and board-certified leadership coach and consultant. She is a wife, mom, Ironman triathlon finisher, and lover of good coffee, mountains, and deep conversation.

Dr. Pickering is committed to equipping and inspiring high-impact and wholehearted people in their discovery and recovery of flourishing to foster resilience for people, teams, families, organizations, workplaces, and communities.

Having lived and worked internationally and with previous careers in education and the fitness industry, she has learned the value of making space for hard stuff, true stuff, and unwavering curiosity.

Dr. Pickering is the Founder of High Places Coaching and Consulting, Inc. and she is the Organization Development psychologist for a healthcare system where she specializes in leadership and team development, burnout prevention, and is a subject matter expert in stress management and resilience. She is an adjunct professor in the ETSU Clinical Psychology department.

Dr. Pickering enjoys supporting emerging and mid-level leaders, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and women in leadership. Her approach focuses on building and developing client’s unique leadership identities, lending to their most effective influence and performance. Her clinical experience includes universities, hospitals, community mental health centers, not-for-profits, and government agencies; she has coached and consulted leadership of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations across various industries including tech, manufacturing, real estate, law, marketing, and healthcare.
